Resvisiting some old characters with a story that was my own attempt to cool down a bit.
Well it’s short scene centered around a shower, so…
Another short story thing with my novel characters, something a bit more light-hearted this time, but actually in chronological order for once.
Continuing to write and plot out my novel backwards, by writing this character piece of a story.
A little scene that came to me one morning, using some old characters of mine. I just knew I had to write it down in full before it escaped me. I quite like it and the implications of it.
I’ve had a portrait of my character Zouriel hanging from my wall since I moved in and it finally coaxed me into writing something with him again. This is a short scene, which I set far in the future in my novel-verse. Perhaps in what would be book two or three.
Another short story snippet based on my novel character Zouriel. Basically another piece where I explore his character and background, his default setting when his character arc begins in my novel.
After some late night ruminations while inebriated, a resulting exchange with a friend (the one who is responsible for one of the characters) and this story was born with my novel main character and a guest star. I suppose I should link to this story as well, as it is an introduction piece of sorts to the guest star.
My novel characters Zouriel and Cassandra have been much neglected as of late, so I wrote this little thing to appease them. It’s actually portraying a kind of important event in the formation of their relationship. (I’m tickled that it came out in Cassandra’s POV, most of my stuff with them is Zouriel’s POV.)
