An experimental thing for today.
Beads of red
Red drops beading,
Crimson lines against the white.
Streaks that burn,
Painting patterns as they run.
Drip, drip, dripping,
Until caught and soaked right up.
Mind is emptied,
Calming breaths that last a while.
I attempt to have a conversation with myself in poetry form.
A piece of experimental free-form poetry that was inspired by a superhero blockbuster movie I saw in early November.
I develop and investigate this format a bit more, playing with topics.
I think I have found a form I am fairly happy with, when it comes to these little experiments.
A good way to purge myself of various detritus and emotional spillage.
My second attempt at this new form, where I decide on a slightly different pattern, as the sentences are the longest in the middle, they shrink until just one word remains at the end.
