So, after some rumination I have come to the decision to scale down my posting on this blog. Sometimes it has been too stressful for me to come up with good writing to share and I fear that has had a detrimental effect on it.
So to combat this I will ease off that pressure by only posting once a week instead of once a day in the fast approaching new year. I call it my… Creative Self Care New Years resolution.
Here’s hoping for a good, creative 2020 for all of you! 🙂
I just realized that with the beginning of the new year I have reached 1,000 posts on this blog!
It feels like such a huge accomplishment, especially when I look back to how it all started, sporadic stories thrown off into the void, like baby birds leaving the nest. Then the day when I decided to commit to posting something everyday and being immediately rewarded with my stats improving steadily. And most importantly, gaining follower after follower. 🙂
So this is my thanks to those of you who check in regularly to read what I put up here, you make it all seem worth it in the end. 🙂
It’s hard for me to believe it, but it’s now been one full year since I made my first post here.
I’ve had a busy year, filled with changes and personal growth. I have found new ways to express myself in writing and I have made plans for the future.
Hopefully this blog will continue to help me and allow me to share my work with the world. And I hope people will continue to enjoy what I have to offer.  I could not have done this without you. 🙂
