Poetry: “Summer night”

Midsummer and summer solstice, seen as a night of magic, where the veil is extra thin.

Summer night

Summer night that lasts forever
Barely more than dusk
Dew wet grass beneath your feet
And flowers in your hair

Hear a far off string of notes
Fiddle by the lake
Mirror clear it stretches out
Hear the call of looms

Mist that rises on the fields
You feel a tug inside
In this magic summer land
You’re never quite alone
