Poetry: “Strut”

Another little animal poem!

***~***~***~***

Strut

No one can strut
Like a crow
Chest puffed up
Confidence
Abound
Walking the lawn
Like he owns it
Not you
Lowly human
You are merely
The tenant
And he the lord
Taking
What he pleases
That you leave out
Unattended
And should you dare
To complain
He will show
His displeasure
And then
He will strut
In your face
Like he owns you
(Yes, he does)
