Acrostic poem: “Nemophilist”

I am one, I admit.

No city streets where concrete
Echoes, sadly against panes of glass
Moved forever is my heart to forests
Overgrown and large
Peace I find there, for my soul
Healing scars on wounded hearts
In the solitude I find it
Life’s all answers that I need
It might seem such a silly fancy
Strolling always among boughs, but
This is soil where roots can thrive
