Poetry: “Shoulder”

Another slightly quirky poem about personal preferences.

***~***~***~***

Shoulder

Let me sing
My praises
To the shoulder
Left bare
In the sun
A healthy bronze
Or even pallid
Sign of book worms
And shut ins
But now it’s here
All exposed
For eyes to see
Some might prefer
Other parts
But give me neck
Or shoulders
And I shall be content
