Poetry: “Summer comes”

An early May visit.

***~***~***~***

Summer comes

She passes by
With graceful fingers
Teasing out
The sullen blooms
That chill of spring
Has kept in hiding
Now all nature
Bursts alight
Greenery that stayed
In casings
Turn at once
To racing growth
Her visit’s brief
But every moment
Used without
A waste of breath
