Poetry: “Jagged edges”

A slightly pessimistic view on our world.

***~***~***~***

Jagged edges

The world is full
Of jagged edges
Sharpened corners
Shards of glass
Elongated
Pointy needles
Poking into
Exposed skin
Hail of arrows
Flint stone raining
Sharpened shrapnel
Thrown around
Knobbly sticks
And hardened branches
No one cares
Who they might harm
