Poetry: “Human values”

Another bit of critique on the system…

Human values

There’s no room for people
In the market’s great bit wheel
The forces that doth move it
They don’t have that softer touch

It only cares for money
That endless back and forth
Of commodities and service
All that money changing hands

It cares not for you own health
But only that you work
And when you start to falter
You can be quickly replaced

We need a brand new system
For clearly this is broke
A way where human values
Ain’t just monetary worth
