Haiku poetry: “Summer reflections”

It’s been a while since I did some haiku, so here are some summery ones.

Summer reflections

The sun burning hot
Sweat is pouring down the back
Such a lovely day

Gazing at the lake
Utterly consumed by bugs
What charming wildlife

Sudden rain shower
Soaked to the bone and freezing
Very refreshing

Sitting in the park
Smoke from countless barbecues
Who needs any fresh air
