Poetry: “In a book store”

More love expressed for books and literature.

***~***~***~***

In a book shop

Here
I am among friends
Bound in paper
And leather
Some old and trusted
Others I’ve yet to meet
Waiting silently
In rows upon the shelves
No one judges
If you linger
For a time
Here
You are welcome
Just relax
Shut the door
To the noise
And bustle
Of the world outside
Drink it in
The ambiance
And the books that beckon you
Closer
