Poetry: “Tulips”

More seasonal flowers! A short, but sweet thing.

Tulips

An ocean of tulips
As far as the eyes can see
A burst of every color
Such a rainbow
Such delight

A month past there was nothing
Not a single tiny bud
But then came sun
Shining down
Wakening the earth

Come roam among them
Tulips
Red and gold and pink
Bring them home in armfuls
Brightening your home
