Poetry: “Spring winds”

A little spring poem again.

Spring winds

The spring winds blowing
Swirling across the path
Kicking up gravel laid down
When snow covered the ground

The spring winds blowing
Sighing across the field
Where new buds struggle to emerge
To escape into the world

The spring winds blowing
Racing across the waves
Of bobbing lake and gurgling stream
Where the fish come out to play

The spring winds sighing
In the forests and the glens
Joining voices with the birds
A concert held at dawn
