Acrostic poem: “Butterflies”

A lovely staple of the warm part of the year, it always makes me smile when I spot the first butterflies in the spring. 🙂

Beautiful to behold
Undulating fragile wings
Taking flight all around
Tiny bodies carried high
Each and everyone’s unique
Rarities some of them are
Flutter, flying, such a sight
Living sometimes in great herds
Imagination tickled
Earth’s most gracious bug
Seen in artists work for so many years
