Poetry: “Wacky weather”

A more humorous poem that deals with our changing climate.

Wacky weather

Is this winter?
Are you sure?
It’s warmer than it was in June
At Midsummer we huddled up
To shield ourselves from frigid winds
Now it’s warmer
So they say
Balmy winds blow from the south
No white Christmas
No instead
Perhaps pull out your summer best
New Years spent
On some nice beach
Fireworks to mirror the
American 4th of July
Oh what a party that we had
Some still claim mankind has no effect
On our planet and it’s clime
Though I implore
Is it quite right
To have summer in winter time
