Acrostic poem: “Climate change”

After Paris this month, this felt like a topic worth coming back to.

Climate change

Christmas time was green again
Little snow fell from the sky
Ice replaced by balmy winds
Makes you see the issue plain
And the droughts and freakish storms
Terrible catastrophes
Each one broadcast on the news

Choose now well how it will be
How the earth will some day be
And generations still unborn
Need they suffer, or live well?
Greener thinking, greener world
Earth can still be saved by us
