Poetry: “Morning reflections”

A bit of rambling reflective poetry today.

Morning reflections

Shyly sunlight peeking slowly peeking stretching golden rays across a frozen world

Cars stand slowly steaming frosty vapor into the chilly air

Sound of magpies chirping quorking making merry noise that echoes

Dogs that barks and tugging owner on a mile long leash pulling towards the magpies making noise into the frozen air

Leaves still clinging onto green though death has dragged its fingers leaving marks of yellow, reds and orange fallen down to meet the ground below

People walking slowly stretching out the memories of yesterday still clutching at their corners slightly dragging

Time that trembles on the edge of day, shaking night out of is tresses
