Poetry: “On life”

Another vaguely inspirational poem. (I should publish all of them in a book, haha.)

On life

A moth that flies towards the light

He is drawn towards the flame

His life may burn out much too fast

But he lives it while he can

A flower stretching t’wards the sun

Blushing softly at the light

As long as summer winds are warm

She will keep on growing strong

A fox that darts across the field

With his red fur standing out

Seeking fortune when he can

For he knows it does run out

A bird that sings so prettily

As the day turns into night

To let the world that he exists

It’s the thing that fuels him
