Poetry: “Lord Nelson”

I am a big history buff and I derived my daily inspiration from that one area for this.

Admiral Nelson

Standing solemn

On his plinth

High above that London square

Named in honor

Of that time

That great battle where he fell

On the seas

Grew to a man

In his service to his land

Lacking means

He still rose high

Showing off such battle skills

He gave his blood

He gave his arm

Always doing what was right

Oh he lived

And oh he loved

Though much time spent far away

Man of England

May his spirit be at peace
