Poetry: “Road trip”

Saturday and time to share more things I like!

Road trip

I have much love for the idea

To get inside a car and go

To let the miles just pass you by

And steer towards some distant goal

Fields of grain or meadows green

Bluest oceans or great trees

Even towns so small and sweet

They are all there for you to see

Making stops to stretch your legs

Fuel up man and machine

Freedom is that thing you feel

As you head on down that road

Legally I cannot drive

But still I like this one past time

To watch the landscape rolling by

Discover new things on the way
