Poetry: “Mysterious space”

Rambling a bit about space, inspired by the movie “Interstellar”.

Mysterious space

Darkened sky above our heads, like a blanket warm and soft

Shielding us, protecting us, from the mysteries out there

For the things that lie out there, we still not know enough

Space is all so very vast, and we’ve only seen a bit

Quasars, pulsars, starts that shine, wrapped up in galaxies arms

Swirling star dust left behind, when the universe was born

Nebulae and pitch black holes, what they contain, no one knows

Our science fiction speculate, but can we ever know the truth?
