Poetry: “Daffodils”

Yeah…I am hardly the first one in existence to write about daffodils. Enjoy this humble offering, if you will.

***~***~***~***

Daffodils

Friend of spring

And Easter too

Comes in many shades of gold

Orange, white

And reddish hues

Flower beds all come alive

Waving softly

In the breeze

Such a soothing thing to watch

Named narcissus

Genus name

They’re sweet no matter what the name
