Poetry: “Footprints”

A silly musing thing, yes.

***~***~***~***

Foot prints

Indentations, stretching out

Foot print markings in wet sand

Slowly nibbled, by the sea

Will be gone by dawn’s first light

One set’s straight, with tracks so deep

Man was walking slowly there

Then the dog that followed him

Ran once down to taste the sea

Sea gull foot prints joins them both

See the tracks go here and there

Suddenly they disappear

When the gull took to the air

Some few moments

Trapped in sand

Tells a story

If you look
