Poetry: “Playful friends”

A poem based on observations of mine again.

Playful friends

Dark wings soaring in the air

Struggle ‘gainst the wind so harsh

Try to see who will give up

Last one flying is the best

Swooping, darting, got your tail

No one wants to be behind

Day is long and moods are high

So much time to spend like this

Settling down then on a roof

All the gang is coming down

Roof still covered by some white

Watch the crows play in the snow
