Poetry: “Air travel woes”

Some poetry produced during my most recent travels, for today and tomorrow.

Air travel woes

Flight delay

Oh my gods

Tell me, will my flight still leave?

Time it ticks

Slowly on

How will my connections work?

Worry gnaws

In your gut

What to do, to make this work

Weather does

Muck things up

And there’s nothing to be done

Try so hard

To relax

Read a book or surf the web

Info calls

Echo loud

Time to decide what to do

Keyboards clack

Tap tap tap

All the re-bookings to do

Passengers

Stand in line

To make sure they will arrive

Travel is

Quite a pain

When unexpected things pop up
